The future of our union is brighter than any time in the last 30 years with the recent return of our bargaining rights and the Chicago Board of Education’s first school board elections around the corner. The same bold leadership that won us those huge gains, as well as our strongest contract ever, will be needed at the helm as we organize to make the most of these openings. The May 20 election will be crucial — and contested.
Pandemic teaching has meant that the most common fundraising events aren’t safe enough. Your online donation will be essential. Invest in a fighting union, donate generously to the CORE re-election campaign and to our grassroots, member-to-member organizing.

When making a donation through Venmo, put your name, name of school or citywide/retired, and the reason purpose (such as if the donation is for a specific event or candidate, if you are purchasing a shirt or hoodie, or if you are joining/repaying dues).
