Citywides and clinicians in the following groups will receive a mail ballot to vote in the CTU May 2022 election: Teacher Nurses, Speech Pathologists, Vision Screening/Audiometric/Audio Visual Technicians, Hospital Licensed Practical/Health Service Nurses, Family Engagement Coordinators, members assigned to/working out of the central office, network offices, etc., Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, and Day-to-Day Substitutes/Cadres, and members on leave and paying full dues who notified the Union in writing prior to April 11, 2022.
Members should vote immediately and return the ballot by mail. Ballots must be received at the CTU election P.O. Box by 4 pm May 20.
Members who wish can bring their mail ballot to a school, during the school's voting times, and vote Supplemental by using the two privacy/security envelopes that were mailed to them, and signing on the Supplemental signature sheet. Members who lose their ballots may vote at a school under regular Supplemental rules, but be sure to bring proof of CTU membership (such as your union card or a pay stub showing dues deduction from no earlier than Jan 2022). The CTU office at 1901 W Carroll is also a polling place and voting will be open from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm on that date. Proof of CTU membership is also required to vote at CTU offices.
